Head of Bioprocessing Unit
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage unit resources, set timelines and priorities in collaboration with the concerned Project Leader and the other Unit Heads,
- Compile data in study reports and presentation to the project team or company,
- Perform annual performance evaluations in a timely manner,
- Ensure proper lab organization and safe laboratory environment according to H&S rules, perform research activities in compliance with Quality Management System and update QA documentation,
- Contribute to the equipment monitoring as part of the alarm network,
- Ensure technology watch; keep informed of developments in the field of your activities through scientific literature, publications, and conferences,
- As member of the Extended Leadership Team, contribute to the organization, performance and achievement of the objectives of the company,
Profile:
- Technical or academic diploma in Biology, Biochemistry or a related scientific discipline
- Relevant level of experience in a similar position
- Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
- Ability to work both independently as well as a team member
- Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems in an autonomous manner
- Comfortable in an IT environment and competent in the use of Microsoft Suite
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
